WAW Christmas Appeal 2023

Help us to continue to help animals in need!

The demand on our services and support continues to increase significantly daily.  The continued impact of the cost-of-living crisis is creating a demand we are struggling to cope with and we need your support more than ever to survive these uncertain times, so we can continue to help animals now into the future.

This Christmas we are asking you to help animals in need, many of them innocent victims of what is going on in the world.

Another busy year

Despite these difficulties, there are still animals in need of rescue and in need of homes - our rescue has remained extremely busy, and we do our best to help as many animals in need that we can.

We work 365 days a year to provide for the animals in our care, including all through the festive season.

This year we have yet again taken in pets from people who have sadly died, from people who are struggling to cover the costs of basic veterinary care, more badly-bred puppies and unwanted litters of kittens as well as supporting the community by offering pet food to those in need and much more.

Between January – 1 November 2023 we have taken in and rehomed 100’s of animals, including an amazing 499 cats!!!

How you can help the animals...

All the animals in our care really want is a home for Christmas, but until that happens, we need to make sure they are well looked after, cared for, and most importantly loved.  With your help we can make sure that the animals in our care have a great Christmas and that we can continue to help them and the community into the future.

There are many ways you can help and get involved:
