- Location: Warrington Animal Welfare Rescue Centre, Warrington
- Salary: £10 per hour
- Hours: 3 days per week (based on set rolling shift rota and includes some weekends / bank holidays, as well as holiday cover)
As joint Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the welfare and rehoming of the dogs, cats, rabbits ang guinea pigs in our care and as such you must be confident with all domestic pets, ideally with experience in a ‘rescue’ environment.
You will be supporting the team to deliver high standard animal welfare and delivering excellent customer service.
You will need a positive can-do attitude and understand that animal rescue is not 9-5, with no two days being the same, and be willing to get involved in activities away from the day to day operations.
The successful candidate will need to be an all-rounder with the ability to prioritise, flexible, adaptable with a calm and methodical approach.
You will need to be passionate, an articulate and strong communicator, resilient and confident working with and managing volunteers and staff, dealing with members of the public, working with vet professionals, potential adopters and Trustees.
Excellent administration, IT, driving, management and organisational skills are a must with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks in this varied role.
The role is currently 3 days per week (job share), over a range of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays as well as holiday cover.
