Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteer Coordinator

Do you have time to help WAW? If yes, we are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator.

The role would involve:

  • Recruitment
  • Reviewing applications
  • Arranging and running inductions for new volunteers
  • Organising training via experienced volunteers and staff
  • Follow up support of new volunteers

Hours are flexible, but would be 6+ hours a week, which would be a mix of working from home and onsite at the rescue centre, including weekends.

Full support and training will be given.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to boost your CV, make new friends and most importantly supporting the work of WAW, helping the charity to help more animals in need.

IT skills are needed as the role involves reviewing online applications and sending emails (you would need your own PC/Device).

It would suit someone who is confident, friendly and passionate about animals.

Please note this an unpaid voluntary role.
